Judge by grades
This project illustrates the stereotype of judging students by grades. Parents will tell their children to be friends with good students, or if you want to be successful, you have to study hard. It questions audiences, "Is the grade becoming the only criteria to measure a person?"
The Strategy
I got the chance to do this project in the Avatar studio class of my first year, and in this project, I want to apply the stereotype into a format of performing art. The combination of the visual and sound is likely to express the tensive feeling.
The Impact
This project focuses on parents as the audience. However, this stereotype is not only happening in school, and it exists in society also, especially when people want to apply for a job. Even though it's hard to change the system in a country, it's to raise people's awareness of stereotypes in their minds through my project.
