Extend life cycle of clothes
Nowadays, clothes as basic needs in daily life are also one of the fashion elements showing taste. After clothes are worn for a certain time, clothes will be idle. However, some fibers are hard to decompose, and there's a doubt of where unused clothes go.
The Strategy
A fictional 3D printer that can place at home. People can design their clothes or buy designs from brands and produce at home.
If you don't want these clothes anymore, you can put them into the device like a blender, then, it can become the raw material again and you can use it later.
The Impact
As we consider the machine which compounds the foods into materials for a 3D printer, it makes us think to consider which kind of food besides mushroom can become the material, and how can people easily use it to design clothes at home in order to solve problems of fast fashion.
